An Inclusive Golf Club
The Club currently has a particular focus on growing both the ladies and junior sections. We recently signed up to be part of the R&A’s ‘Women in Golf’ Charter and are committed to creating and maintaining a more inclusive environment for women. More details on this can be viewed by clicking on the link below. In addition, our professionals are delivering coaching programmes that are targeted at assisting ladies who wish to start playing golf and you can be assured of a warm welcome from our ladies section.
Juniors are at the heart of any Golf Club and we have a vibrant junior section, supported by excellent organisers and our professionals. The junior membership structure is set up to enable new starters to progress from “rookie” status to full junior membership and the many events through the year cater for all. Clearly safeguarding arrangements are crucial to any sport that involves juniors and young people and the Club was delighted to be awarded the SafeGolf accreditation that sets out specific requirements for these arrangements.
